Live Activities are supported in third-party apps with the release of the latest version of the operating system. The Lock Screen can be used to stay up to date on real-time events, such as a sports game or a food delivery order.

Live Activities provide at-a-glance information by displaying real-time notifications on the lock screen. The Dynamic Island on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max shows live activities. There is a Live Activity in the Dynamic Island.

Live Activities support for sports scores, parking, flights, and more can be found in some of the useful iPhone apps.

FotMob

The FotMob app can be used to track live scores of games during the World Cup. Open the FotMob app, tap on an ongoing match, and then tap on the star in the top-right corner. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island will show a live score.

Sports Alerts

The Sports Alert app can be used to track live scores from other sports, including the NBA, NHL, and NCAA football and basketball. To start live activity, open the Sports Alert app, tap on an ongoing game, and tap on the three dots in the top right corner. The Lock Screen and Dynamic Island will show a live score with play by play.
