The O3 Air Unit is a first-person view camera and transmission system for drones.
The O3 Air Unit has a 1/6.7 inch sensor. A 155 field-of-view is available, but only when the aspect ratio is set to 4: and the recording quality is reduced to 2.7K at 50/60 frames per second or 60 frames per second. The footage can be shot in D-Cinelike, a unique video color profile that preserves shadows, highlights, and mid-tones for post- production.
The unit's 2T2R omnidirectional antennas are capable of delivering a high definition live video transmission from up to 10 km away. When the unit senses a crowded signal environment, the best frequencies are automatically selected with anti- interference technologies. The O3 Air Unit supports Canvas mode, which allows pilots to modify their on-screen display with warnings, timers, and signal quality.
The O3 Air Unit is compatible with the wireless DJI Goggles 2 headset, which is now available to purchase as a stand alone product. A built-in diopter that can be adjusted from +2.0 to -8.0 allows drone pilots to fly with no glasses.
You can use the Goggles 2 to watch another pilot's real-time live feed if you want to spectate flights. When fully charged, the headset can support up to 120 minutes of flight. The goggles are compatible with the O3 Air Unit, Avata, and the remote controller.
Today, the O3 Air Unit is available for $229. The camera module, transmission module, antenna, and 3-in-1 cable are included. Today, the O3 Air Unit is available for $649 which includes a battery, eyeglasses frames, screen protectors, headband, power cable, dual-band antenna, and OTG cable.
The story has been changed to say that the DJI Goggles 2 is a product that can be purchased as a stand alone product. This is a different product from the previous one. We apologize for the mistake.
