In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter last week, he said he was leaving the social-media platform to protect his mental health and take aim at the arrogance of the billionaire class.
The former President's account was restored by Musk last week. Musk said that Trent "nine inch nails" Reznor is actually a cry baby.
Musk said that the decision to leave the platform was disappointing.

The deal to buy the social-media platform was sealed in late October.
Around the time Musk began his pursuit of social media, celebrities started leaving online. The stars were concerned about what Musk would do with the company if he completed the deal.
Insider's requests for comment were not responded to by representatives for Musk and Reznor.
