Less than two weeks after he was injured in a car fire, Jay Leno was released from a burn center.
The first look at the former host of the "Tonight Show" can be seen in a photo shared by the Grossman Burn Center.
The doctor said he was optimistic that Jay would make a full recovery.
When Grossman gave an update on Leno's condition last week, he had undergone at least one surgery.
He was badly burned when a car he was working on burst into flames.
Leno will be treated at an outpatient clinic.
The burn center said in a statement that Jay would like to let everyone know how grateful he is for the care he received. He looks forward to spending Thanksgiving with his family and friends.
Leno appeared to avoid nerve damage, but his facial wounds were a concern.
It's too early to know whether there will be remnants of the injury.
Leno described the incident as a gasoline fire.
Leno said in a statement that he needs a week or two to recover.
Leno hosted the "Tonight Show" from 1992 to 2009. Leno has hosted the CNBC series "Jay Leno's Garage" for the last three years, showcasing rare and vintage cars.
