The Belgian team will not wear their white away shirts with the word "love" on the collar in the group stage of the World Cup.

It is believed to be part of a dispute.

The away kit was part of a deal with Adidas and Tomorrowland.

They are going to wear their red home shirts in the group matches.

In a statement when the kit was launched, Adidas said: "With the kit, the Belgian Red Devils and partners involved intend to make a positive, fun statement of LOVE in times of turmoil."

The away kit was worn by Belgium in the Nations League loss to the Netherlands.

England, Wales and other European nations decided not to wear OneLove at the World Cup because of the risk of players getting yellow cards.

The captains, including England's Harry Kane and Wales's Gareth Bale, were going to wear the armband to promote diversity and inclusion.

The campaign had been due to start from the quarter-finals but has been brought forward with captains allowed to wear a "No Discrimination" armband.

The world governing body of football forbids the display of commercial messages and slogans at its events.

Player kits and equipment can't contain political, religious or personal messages.
