Although they're great health and fitness trackers, they're not perfect and sometimes suffer from problems. Users are reporting problems with the app on Monday.

Several users have complained that they can't access their information One person says they can't sign into the app, while another person says their data has vanished. The app doesn't recognize the subscription even though the subscriber pays monthly.

A quick look at DownDetector shows that there has been a huge increase in reports. Thankfully, the official Fitbit Support account has acknowledged the problem and is currently investigating it. It is not clear when the problem will be solved.

Some of the latest Fitbit watches received a big update that allows them to make payments with their phones instead of using their native pay device. New gestures for turning off the display are included in the update. It seems unlikely that these updates are related to the current outage.
