At least five people were killed and many more were injured in a shooting at a nightclub. Anderson Lee Aldrich was taken into custody at the scene and charged with murder and hate crimes.

The five victims were identified at a news conference by the police chief.

The Associated Press was told by his mother that he had died.

We are shocked." His mother said she was sure it would hit them again when he went through this phase.

She said she thought it was a mistake, and that he was still alive.

New patrons felt comfortable at the bar.

The first time she went to Club Q, she was nervous. She said that the man came over to put her at ease.

Stamm said that she was told that it was her first time.

The drag performer Del Lusional, who performed at Club Q the night of the shooting, posted a tribute to the victim on his social media accounts.

If I wanted a cigarette from Daniel, I had to compliment him on his hair. The performer said it looked full. I'm going to miss going to the bar and saying "Who let you in here?". I will miss him making a gesture to my face. It's so much.

The performer said to have fun with your friends.

If I wanted a cigarette from Daniel, I had to butter him up with stupid compliments “Your mullet looks very nice today”“Did you do something to your mustache? It looks very full”

Derrick Rump

He was a bartender at Club Q.

Keoni Moore, a DJ who used to work at the club, said that Rump was a lovely, funny, hilarious person.

rick was a very good comedian.

Del Lusional posted a picture of Rump.

He was in a bad mood when I started singing Hero to him and it made him laugh. The performer said that it was the last time he spoke to him.

Kelly Loving

A friend of Loving's confirmed to The Times that she was shot and killed at Club Q.

Minutes before the shooting, a woman was on the phone with a man.

"I told her, 'I love you, be safe,' and she said it back to me, and I never heard back from her again," she said.

She tried to get in touch with Loving later that night, but she didn't hear back.

A friend of Loving's was found dead in Loving's room.

Loving's 40th birthday was celebrated by the two and others. Loving was supposed to join her for the holiday.

The gay community makes our families. She was a mother to me. I invited her to my house because I had no idea what she was going to do. She was going to be at my house this morning.

She won't be at my table for Thanksgiving.

There was a mass shooting at a nightclub in Florida.

Ashley Paugh

Her sister told NBC News that Paugh was killed in the shooting at Club Q.

According to her sister, Paugh was the mother of an 11 year old girl.

Her sister-in-law posted on Facebook that she had died.

"It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that my sister in law, Ashly Green Paugh, was murdered late Saturday night in a hate crime," wrote Paugh. My wish is that the shooter could hear the screams of my niece, crying for her mom, as her father tells her that her mom is gone for good.

Raymond Green Vance

Green and his girlfriend, Kassy Fierro, were at the club with her family to celebrate her birthday. His death was confirmed by his mother.

The Atrevida Beer Co., which is owned by Green's girlfriend's family, posted on its Facebook page that Green was shot and killed at the club by a man.

According to the post, Raymond was a part of their lives since their daughter was in high school.

Kassy Fierro said she would never be able to heal from the death of Green.

She wrote that she would never forget U.

Rich Fierro, one of the owners of the brewery, injured his hands, knees and ankle as he tackled the shooter.

The website states that Fierro is an Army veteran.

When contacted by The Times, he refused to speak.
