Jay Leno Seen For The First Time Since Accident, Released From Hospital

You can already tell how bad Jay Leno was hurt when he was released from the hospital.

The ex-late night host posed for a picture at the burn center where he has been receiving treatment for nine days. He has scars on his face and hands, but he seems to be doing well.

He's well enough to have left the hospital. Jay will get follow-up care at the burn center's outpatient facility after he received burns throughout his upper body.

Jay would like to let everyone know how grateful he is for the care he received, and is very appreciative of all of the well wishes. He will be spending Thanksgiving with his family and friends.

In addition to being placed in a hyperbaric chamber, the patient has undergone a number of other procedures.

Jay was in his Burbank garage working on his vehicle. He was sprayed with gasoline while trying to fix a fuel line on a car. His friend saved his life.
