Gordon fumbled for the fifth time this season in the Broncos' overtime loss to the Raiders on Sunday.

Gordon leads the Broncos in carries and rushing yards. Gordon fumbled at the Raiders' 2-yard line before the half.

The field goal attempt was blocked on the next play after the Broncos guard recovered the fumbled ball. A touchdown would have given the Broncos a 17-7 halftime lead, and a field goal would have given them a 7-13 lead.

The lack of points on the drive was unacceptable.

"We're not able to do that,'' he said. We need to get a field goal. We didn't get anything, so that's frustrating.

Gordon's first fumbled this season was at the opponent's 2-yard line. Gordon fumbled at the 1-yard line for the Broncos in their season opener.

Gordon's fumbled the ball in the fourth quarter and the Raiders returned it for a touchdown.

He has scored a lot of touchdown for us down there. He has to be aware of what's going on. He cannot allow it to happen. You can't do that. It's not acceptable. We need to get the ball in the end zone.

Gordon said after the loss that he was sick about it. I know what's coming after that. I took my own life. I feel a bit salty because I was feeling it on Sunday. I knew that I would have to find a way to get back to normal. It was going to be difficult. I tried to make splashes here and there after that, but my opportunities dwindled after that, so that's my fault.

Gordon bristled at times about his role in the Broncos' offense, which is last in the league in scoring at 14.7% per game. Gordon didn't get another carry until after the fourth quarter ended.

Latavius Murray has been leading the team in rushing attempts since he was signed off the New Orleans Saints practice squad. The Broncos signed a new player, but he does not have a carry.

Running back ChaseEdmonds, who the Broncos acquired as part of the trade of outside linebacker Bradley Chubb to the Miami Dolphins, suffered a right ankle injury Sunday and left the stadium wearing a walking boot. According to a source, Edmonds is going to be out for several weeks with the injury.

Gordon said it wasn't like they didn't recover the ball. It wasn't the end of the world, we had a chance to get points after the second quarter, but unfortunately it happened.

Gordon played 41 games for the Broncos over the last three seasons, scored 22 total touchdown (19 rushing, three receiving), but also had 12 total turnovers, nine of which were recovered by the Broncos.
