The clothing companies who parted ways with the rapper after he made antisemitic comments are now giving him thousands of dollars worth of clothes.
In a video posted Sunday, West shows off a warehouse filled with hundreds, if not thousands, of apparel items from Adidas, Balenciaga and Gap in the process of being adorned with a YE 24 logo
West said he will sell the gear at $20 each.
It would be a huge markdown from the retail price of the clothing, which ranged from $100 to $400 per item.
Gap and Balenciaga did not reply to the inquiry.
The once popular right wing figure Milo Yiannopolous appeared with West in the video.
In September, West backed out of his partnership with Gap, and in October, he was dropped by both adidas and Balenciaga. West ran for president in 2020 but came under fire after attacking the leader of the Underground Railroad and saying Forbes Covid vaccines are the "mark of the beast." In the 2020 election, West received 60,000 votes and was the candidate of the birthday party. West suffers from a disorder that can cause people to act irrationally.
His first activity on the platform in more than two weeks came after he asked if his account was unblocked. West's social media accounts were temporarily locked last month, but he hasn't apologized or walked back his antisemitic views. Several figures returned to the site last week, including former President Donald Trump and Milo Yiannopoulos, who was banned from the site for making racist posts. The richest man in the world, Musk, welcomed West back to the social networking site with open arms.
The presidential campaign manager is a major promotion for Yiannopoulos in the world of fringe conservative politics.
It was the first company to sever ties amid controversy.
