The New York Giants will be without Wan'Dale Robinson for the rest of the season after he tore theACL in his knee in Sunday's loss to the Detroit Lions.

Robinson's knee buckled when he was getting tackled on the first play of the fourth quarter. He was in pain as he grabbed at the knee after falling to the floor. The fear was that the injury was serious, according to a source.

The Giants are extremely thin at an already worrying position. Robinson had 23 catches for 229 yards and a touchdown in six games.

He had the most productive game of his career before the injury. He caught nine passes for 100 yards.

One of the Giants' better players will not be with the team for the rest of the season. It must be figured out by Thursday.

The New York Giants play the Dallas Cowboys in a Thanksgiving game.

Robinson can be very dangerous. "Not having him out there is definitely going to be a loss, but it's going to give other guys opportunities and we have all the confidence in all the other guys too to step in and make plays."

The slot receiver role has been taken over by James. Robinson missed four games with a knee injury.

"Hard Knocks" star Kalil Pimpleton is expected to be elevated from the practice squad.

New York has claimed three new players at wide receiver this season. Kadarius Toney was traded to the Kansas City Chiefs. Kenny Golladay has four catches for 51 yards and no touchdown this season, despite being on the roster.

This is their group, with Slayton leading the way.

"We have a lot of guys on the roster who can catch the ball." A short week. The men will be ready to go. We revisit things as we do each week to see how they go.

It's possible that the Giants still add a veteran receiver for the stretch run even if it's not about Beckham. They're in a good position to make the playoffs for the first time in two years, but have a tough remaining schedule.

New York is thought to be in the running for Beckham. The Cowboys have been campaigning for his services and are thought to be the favorites.
