Over the weekend, more than 350,000 vehicles were recalled from the U.S.

The software glitch that disabled the tail lights on some cars led to the recall of more than 300,000 cars. There is a recall for Model 3 sedans and Model Y SUVs.

According to the company, the problem affects 1% of the vehicles under recall. The update was given to vehicles in production on November 6.

The Model X SUVs were recalled due to a passenger safety issue.

According to data from the DOT, the EV maker has issued 19 recalls in the U.S. Over-the-air software updates have been used to resolve most of them. More than 40,000 Model X and Model S cars were recalled earlier this month due to a software issue that could affect power steering, and another 53 cars were recalled due to faulty installation of side view mirrors.

In August, consumer advocate Ralph Nader urged the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to recall the full self-driving technology from its vehicles, saying it was "one of the most dangerous and irresponsible actions by a car company in decades."
