  • Google has apparently brought back the delivery status alerts to its "At a Glance" widget on Pixel phones.
  • The feature allows you to monitor the status of your food or package delivery.
  • It mysteriously disappeared shortly after being introduced in August.

A feature that appeared a few months ago only to disappear a few days later is thought to have been restored. You can now see the status of your food or package delivery on your phone's home screen, thanks to the return of thewidget.

If you have a package or food order on the way, the delivery status alert will show up on thewidget. You can turn on the "food and household orders" feature if you own any of the best phones on the market.

The feature combs through your inbox to find the next delivery. When you tap on the food order or parcel status on your home screen, you will be taken to the email in your Gmail account.

All of your deliveries can't be tracked by the widget. 9to5 states that DoorDash isn't supported. You still have to keep an eye on the status of your deliveries that are being shipped without a confirmation email. Hopefully, this won't be a long term limitation.
