Chris Christie said that Republicans who want to run against Donald Trump in the future should start naming him.

Christie told the Washington Examiner on Thursday that a number of people are considering running for president and treating him like a villain. He was referring to the main villain in the "Harry Potter" books.

They say who the leaders are. They will not say the name. Christie thinks that fails the test.

Do you intend to run against him? Say something like "his name" He might have done something wrong. Christie asked him to say his name.

He urged the GOP to stop being afraid of Trump, amid rumors that he will run against Trump for the GOP presidential nomination.

Christie has something to say. Most of Trump's rivals have refrained from mentioning the former president at all. Last week, when asked if there was a civil war between him and Trump, he avoided rebuking the president. Instead, he told people to chill out about their rivalries.

In regards to Trump, the same cannot be said. The nickname "Ron DeSanctimonious" was given by Trump this month. He accused the Florida governor of disloyalty.

Christie told the Washington Examiner that he will make a decision within six months if he runs for president.

Christie has called Trump out a lot. Christie accused Trump of withholding a positive coronaviruses test result and spreading it to him.

Christie told the former president to move on from the 2020 election and tell the truth about election fraud.

The Trump team's actions leading up to the January 6 Capitol riot were called a "Keystone Cops operation" by the former governor.

The representative at the post-presidential press office did not respond to the requests for comment.
