The impact of a space object with Earth was successfully predicted by the European Space Agency. The number of times a space rock is detected before it strikes is growing, according to the agency.

According to the European Space Agency, all six detections have taken place since 2008.

It's much easier to spot large asteroids.

The fireball was predicted by amateur and professional astronomer in the hours before it hit. A warning of an imminent impact was triggered by a fast- moving object that was detected by the Mount Lemmon Survey.

The object was spotted by seven telescopes before it entered the Earth's atmosphere. Over the province of Ontario. The object was smaller than 1 meter.

fireballs are shooting stars that can be seen over a wide area. According to NASA, objects that cause fireballs are usually not large enough to survive passage through the Earth's atmosphere intact.

Mike Hankey told The New York Times that meteorites could be found near the falls.
