  • If elected, he will remove the congressman and two other democrats from their committees.

Kevin McCarthy promised to remove three Democrats from their committee assignments if he became speaker.

According to USA Today, McCarthy wants to remove the two congressmen from their assignments on the Foreign Affairs and Intelligence Committees.

On Sunday's edition of ABC's "This Week," Schiff responded to McCarthy's potential undertaking.

McCarthy has been accused of siding with insurrectionists by some Republicans. They won't be in congress next year.

McCarthy's efforts are a bad strategy for Republicans to use against him, according to Greene. He said he will restore her to committee assignments despite her right-wing beliefs.
