We try to focus on taking an objective approach to our reviews when it comes to things being subjective or objectively better than a similar device. I think the Z Fold 4 is the best phone ever made, but it's not the best phone for everyone.

Everything that I get my hands on, including tablets, accessories, and the topic of today, is a result of this same mentality. Despite being expensive and relying on proprietary bands, I stated in my review that it's still worth it. I didn't really pay much attention to the actual size of the thing, as that's a subjective opinion that doesn't really detract from the overall package that the company has delivered.

Size mostly doesn't matter

If you take a look at any of the best fitness trackers that I've reviewed here, you'll see that I don't have the smallest wrists. Dainty Wearables that are lightweight and67531675316753167531675316753167531675316753167531675316753167531 Unfortunately, the Pixel Watch falls into this category.

I own both the Apple Watch Ultra with a 49mm case and theGalaxy Watch 5 Pro with a 45mm case. I always go for the largest possible size when buying my own Wearables because the smaller ones don't look right on my wrist. I see it in my own eyes.

It's simply a night and day difference on my wrist when compared to the 41mm case size of thePixel Watch. It's almost to the point that it looks like a joke, but still looks better than the one I reviewed earlier this year.

Since the introduction of Android Wear, I've been waiting for the arrival of a new device from the company. The rumor mill got me excited, but I was let down by the search engine. That was until I/O 2022.

Seeing the press renders of a device is one thing, but I went too far trying to get a close-up look at thePixel Watch on Rick Osterloh's wrist during the announcement. It didn't really help me when I was trying to decide if it looked good or not on my wrist.

After the beans were spilled, I was able to get the Pixel Watch slapped onto my wrist, but I was torn. I don't care about the large screen because the built-in watch faces hide them from me. I don't have an opinion on the rotating crown as it's a necessity for any smartwatch that doesn't want you to touch the screen just to scroll.

More watches should offer this, even the ones from South Korea. The digital crown hides the majority of the screen while I scroll through the various menus.

Pixel Watch 2 needs to come in more sizes

I'm hoping that thePixel Watch 2 comes in more than one size, and that it doesn't find itself on the chopping block, because I want it to be more than just one size. A total of four different watches, all tailored to different price brackets, doesn't require the Apple watch approach.

The Pixel Watch 2 will be available in 41mm and 45mm cases. If the battery life remains the same, we should be able to enjoy the larger screen.

I don't have any knowledge of what's to come in the product line. There is an argument to be made about having multiple options, besides colors and bands, for the next Wearable from the company.

Google still made the right decision

I still think that it was the right decision for the company to play it safe. Regardless of who makes it, a 41mm case is the most popular model.

The meaning of "playing it safe" is that there was no attempt to come out swinging. Go from there if you release the smaller-sized one with a few different colors and bands. Before making a final decision on whether there will be a successor or not, you should gauge how the market reacts.

I like the interface of the Pixel Watch more than theGalaxy Watch 5 Pro. It doesn't look as good on me, but I still prefer the vision of Wear OS over the others. It's kind of the point.
