The UN is looking into reports that 10 Russian prisoners of war may have been executed by the Ukrainians.
The gruesome videos, first posted on Ukrainian news sites and social media channels, do not show the killings, but before and after scenes of Russian soldiers lying on the ground in a line.
Videos about the country's successful defense against Russian invaders were shared on Ukrainian channels. The clips are further evidence of the crimes committed by Ukrainian neo-Nazis according to a statement posted to Telegram by a spokesman for the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The UN Human Rights Office is aware of the videos and is looking into them, according to a spokeswoman. There are allegations of summary executions of people in combat. The phrase "hors de combat" means "out of combat" in French.
According to the head of the UN Human Rights Monitoring Mission in Ukraine, both Russians and Ukrainians have been accused of war crimes since the beginning of the conflict.
The representatives of the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights didn't reply immediately.
