There was an exciting finish to the New England - New York Jets game that had been less than electric for more than 60 minutes.

The defense of the Colts is being overlooked. The Colts were able to limit the Eagles to less than their season average. The Eagles are fourth in the league in converting 40% of their third downs. The Colts have been in the top 10 in defensive expected points added for most of the season. The problem on Sunday is an offense that can't score enough points to make a difference.
Is the offense moving in the right direction? There are some The Colts have cut back on the turnovers and we are seeing better production in the running game. How long will left tackleRonnie Stanley be out with an injury? The Ravens can't afford to lose Stanley for a long time. The former first-team All-Pro left the field with four minutes left in the third quarter after Jackson rolled into his ankle. If Washington beats Atlanta at home this week, it will set up a pair of games against the New York Giants. The Commanders could have a good time in December.

The offense of the Texans is not working. When Dameon Pierce isn't producing, the unit doesn't have other options. The Texans couldn't get 8 rushing yards from Pierce. Davis Mills had 169 yards and they couldn't rely on their passing attack. The Texans had only one first down and zero points with a total of 21 yards in the first half after Mills' second pass was picked off and returned for a touchdown by a teammate. It's time to bench Mills. Mills had his lowest passer rating of the season in the loss to the Commanders. Some of the sacks were because Mills held the ball too long. When the Falcons couldn't get much going on offense, quarterback Marcus Mariota was able to move the ball well, gaining 28 yards with a rushing touchdown and 131 passing yards, including a 2-yard touchdown pass to receiver Drake London. After a week when the offense faced a lot of questions, it was a performance Atlanta needed to keep pace with the other teams in the division. The Falcons averaged 5.7 yards per play and had 30 rushes and 20 passes before kneel- downs.
How do the Falcons replace Kyle if he is out for a long period of time? After he left the game in the third quarter, we don't know a lot about his injury. The attention paid to him has been important for Atlanta. Replacing him would likely be a group of people. Maybe Feleipe Franks will see more time if he comes back from his injury.
