His Tennessee career is over.

During Saturday's loss to South Carolina, the quarterback tore his left knee and ended his season.

The announcement said that Hendon will come back stronger than ever as he begins his NFL career.

On Saturday, the Volunteers were devastated.

Hooker's College Football Playoff hopes came to an end when they lost 63-38. Thanks to Tennessee's inability to stack defensive stops, the outcome was decided before the star quarterback left.

Hooker's season is over due to an injury.

He completed 69.6% of his passes for 3,135 yards and 27 touchdown. He had a great game against Alabama with 386 yards and five touchdown passes through the air and 56 yards on the ground.
