The actor and MMA fighter died. The man was 49 years old.

The cause of death was suicide, according to reports.

Can't believe it. Walter E. Jones, his former Power Rangers costar, mourned the loss of his friend and co-star. I am sad that another member of our family has passed away.

I can't believe this. All night long, I was miserable. Another former costar, Blake Foster, said that he was broken yet again. Our leader, my friend, and my hero are gone. Man, life really stinks.

I was holding off posting anything about Jason David Frank because the reports felt very vague and uncertain, but now sadly looks like it's true. Very sorry to hear. Hard to overstate what a truly beloved superhero he was to so many. RIP.

Rest in peace to a legend and a significant part of my childhood.

His passion for Power Rangers continued to keep me engaged with the franchise series after series even after all these years.

My heart goes out to his family going through this difficult time. https://t.co/hoXYqXOMcl

Jason David Frank was a hero to a lot of us growing up and he was a really good friend. I’m so gutted to learn that he took his own life… I hate that I understand and I hate that we still feel so alone. Rest in peace, brother 😔 May you find the quiet you are searching for.

During his time on the show, Frank played the Green Ranger and later the White Ranger, but he also made a number of Power Rangers appearances.

Between 2008 and 2010 he was a fighter. He went 4-0 in his amateur career and 1-0 in his professional career.

Please respect the privacy of his family and friends, as we come to terms with the loss of a wonderful human being," Frank's representative said. He loved his family a lot. He will not be around anymore.
