The college football poll is out.

What do you think will happen from here? We break down the next steps for each team.

1. Georgia Bulldogs (11-0)

Previous ranking: 1

The week 12 result was a victory for Kentucky.

The next game is vs Georgia Tech.

The SEC part of the regular season is over for Georgia, who will play Georgia Tech on Saturday. Georgia will be a huge favorite in the game and will look to be more polished on offense than it was in the win over Kentucky. Even if Georgia lost to LSU in the SEC Championship game, it would still be in the College Football Playoff.

2. Ohio State Buckeyes (11-0)

Previous ranking: 2

The week 12 result was a win.

The next game is against Michigan on Saturday.

Since falling to Michigan in the snow at the Big House, Ryan Day and the Buckeyes have pointed to this game as a chance to redeem themselves. Ohio State has suffered injuries and struggles. Leading up to the game, the health of running back Miyan Williams will be worth keeping an eye on. The line of scrimmage was a problem for Ohio State last year. The contest will be a must-win for the Ohio State. Since 1999, Ohio State has not lost a game to Michigan.

3. Michigan Wolverines (11-0)

Previous ranking: 3

The week 12 result was a win.

Next: at Ohio State.

The University of Michigan is 11-0 for the first time in six years. Running backBlake Corum went down in the second quarter on Saturday, and the team had to play without several players. As the team prepares for the last game of the season against Ohio State, Harbaugh said he isn't concerned with the injuries. The Big Ten championship game is likely to be a battle between the two teams.

4. TCU Horned Frogs (11-0)

Previous ranking: 4

The week 12 result was a 29-28 victory for the Bears.

The next game is against Iowa State. The time has not yet been determined.

With this weekend's home game against Iowa State, the Frogs are in a good position to make the playoffs. Six of the Cyclones' seven losses this season have been by a touchdown or less, posing a serious threat to the season of destiny for the Frogs. Iowa State's defense has not allowed any teams to score more than 30 points against it this year. The Horned Frogs won't take this one lightly, as the Cyclones have won four of the last five.

5. USC Trojans (10-1)

Previous ranking: 7

The 48-45 win was against UCLA.

The next game is against Notre Dame. The time has not yet been determined.

USC doesn't have a chance to come down after the game. As they welcome Notre Dame to the Coliseum, the USC will have to focus quickly. A win would make the team more likely to make the playoffs. The Pac-12 may not have a playoff team to show for itself if it loses.

6. LSU Tigers (9-2)

Previous ranking: 6

The week 12 result was a 41-10) win over Alabama A&M.

Next: at Texas A&M. The time has not yet been determined.

The SEC Championship is against Georgia. The College Football Playoff is a foregone conclusion if LSU wins. The regular season finale is at Texas A&M on Saturday. The Aggies are 1-6 in the SEC and don't take anything for granted. LSU had to win all four quarters to beat Arkansas.

7. Alabama Crimson Tide (9-2)

Previous ranking: 8

The week 12 result was a 34-0 win.

The next game is against auburn on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. The time has not yet been determined.

It felt like the season could go sideways in a hurry because of the loss to LSU. The last time Alabama lost before the Iron Bowl was in 2010. There was no chance to play for the SEC title. The team decided to stick it out and win at Ole Miss and then beat Austin Peay on Saturday. If the Tide can beat auburn at home on Saturday, they will have a chance to win 10 games in the regular season.

8. Clemson Tigers (10-1)

Previous ranking: 9

The week 12 result was a 4010 win over Miami.

The next game is against South Carolina.

After getting through the conference unscathed for the first time in over a year, the tigers are still in the conversation. If they beat South Carolina for the eighth time in a row, it will be a new record in the series. Since the loss to Notre Dame, the Gamecocks have scored 10 points or less in four of the five meetings. Bryan Bresee did not play in the Miami game.

DJ Uiagalelei threw for 227 yards and two touchdowns, adding 89 yards and another score on the ground, in Clemson's 40-10 win over Miami. AP Photo/Jacob Kupferman

9. Tennessee Volunteers (9-2)

Previous ranking: 5

The week 12 result was a loss.

Saturday, 7:30 p.m., is where we're going. The time has not yet been determined.

Discuss deflating losses. If the Vols could win out, they would move into the College Football Playoff committee's top four. They collapsed at South Carolina. Senior quarterback Hendon Hooker left the game in the fourth quarter with what appeared to be a knee injury. He was replaced by someone else. Tennessee has won its past two SEC games against Kentucky and Florida and will play for a chance to become bowl-eligible on Saturday when it travels to Vandy.

10. Oregon Ducks (9-2)

Previous ranking: 12

The week 12 result was a victory over Utah.

What's next at Oregon State? The time has not yet been determined.

The path to the Pac-12 title will go through Corvallis next week as the Ducks head to Oregon State in what will be a ranked rivalry game. The winner of the Oregon and Oregon State game will play for the title. If it loses to Oregon State, it needs Washington to lose or UCLA to beat Cal in order to make it.

11. Penn State Nittany Lions (9-2)

Previous ranking: 11

The week 12 result was a 5510 win over Rutgers.

The next game is against Michigan State. The time has not yet been determined.

Two of the biggest reasons for Penn State to get back on track are Nicholas and Kaytron Allen. The Nittany Lions ran for 237 yards by the end of the game after only 62 yards in the first half. Allen ran for 117 yards and a touchdown, while Singleton returned a 100 yard kick off. The Nittany Lions can get to the 10-win mark for the first time in over a year next week when they host Michigan State.

12. Washington Huskies (9-2)

Previous ranking: 15

The week 12 result was a 54-7 victory over Colorado.

At Washington State on Saturday, 10:30 pm. The time has not yet been determined.

In the first year of their existence, the Huskies have turned around a lot of things. They have regained their ability to win and have improved in the passing game. In Saturday's 54-7 win over Colorado, Washington found more balance in its offense. After falling to Washington State in the Apple Cup last year, the team wants to win it again. It would be Washington's first 10-win season in three years.

13. Notre Dame Fighting Irish (8-3)

Previous ranking: 18

The week 12 result was a victory over Boston College.

At USC on Saturday, 7:30 p.m., what's next? The time has not yet been determined.

At Notre Dame, a three-loss season is never celebrated, but if the Irish can complete their second-half surge with a win at USC, it will be seen as a positive sign. Notre Dame lost to Ohio State in the opener, but has won four in a row against USC. Cornerback Benjamin Morrison and the Notre Dame secondary will have to contend with USC's receiving corps. The Irish will have a chance for their sixth straight 10-win season if they win in LA.

14. Utah Utes (9-2)

Previous ranking: 10

The week 12 result was a loss to the 12th ranked Oregon.

Saturday, 4 p.m., we'll be at Colorado. The time has not yet been determined.

The Utes will have to play the worst team in the conference on the road in Colorado if they want to have a chance at a conference title. What could be considered a disappointing season for Kyle Whittingham's team is still likely going to be nine wins and a chance to win 10 at their bowl game. If Utah, Oregon State, UCLA and Washington all win next week, they will have a chance to defend their title.

15. Kansas State Wildcats (8-3)

Previous ranking: 19

The 48-31 win was against West Virginia.

The next game is against Kansas on Saturday. The time has not yet been determined.

With a win over Kansas and a loss by Texas Tech in the Big 12 championship game, the Cats will get a chance to avenge their loss to the Horned Frogs in the conference title game. A second chance at the Frogs would be a chance for redemption for the Cats, who lost three times this year by a total of 24 points. They need to beat a bowl-eligible Kansas team, but have won 13 in a row against the Jayhawks.

16. Florida State Seminoles (8-3)

Previous ranking: 20

The week 12 result was a win.

The next game is against Florida on Friday. The time has not yet been determined.

The program has been stable under Mike Norvell and enters this week's rivalry game with Florida on a four-game win streak. FSU has excelled on both sides of the ball since losing to NC State and Clemson. The dual-threat quarterback and a deep group of running backs have overwhelmed opponents. FSU is expected to win against Florida for the first time in two years.

17. UCLA Bruins (8-3)

Previous ranking: 16

The week 12 result was a loss to USC.

On Friday, 4:30 p.m., we'll find out what's next. The time has not yet been determined.

The Bruins are trying to avoid their third straight loss. During the USC game, Thompson-Robinson appeared to be banged up, but should be able to play. The Bruins could get their first nine-win season in three years if the game goes their way.

18. North Carolina Tar Heels (9-2)

Previous ranking: 13

The loss was against Georgia Tech.

The next game is against NC State. The time has not yet been determined.

With a spot in the conference championship game already locked up, the Tar Heels played like it and lost at home to Georgia Tech. It was North Carolina's worst offensive showing of the season, and the Tar Heels will get a chance to work out their issues against NC State on Friday. Prior to the loss to Georgia Tech, North Carolina had scored more than 30 points in every game.

19. Tulane Green Wave (9-2)

Previous ranking: 21

The week 12 result was a 59-24 victory over SMU.

Next stop: at Cincinnati on Friday.

In the last two weeks, the defense has given up over 900 yards against SMU and UCF. With a piece of the program's first conference title since 1998 hanging in the balance, the Green Wave's defense will have to tighten up a lot at Cincinnati next week. If the Green Wave can end the home winning streak of the Bearcats, it will be the first time in 24 years that they have won at least 10 games.

20. Ole Miss Rebels (8-3)

Previous ranking: 14

The week 12 result was a loss.

The next game is against Mississippi State. The time has not yet been determined.

Ole Miss has gone through a rough patch recently. The Rebels have lost three in a row and don't have much time to prepare for their final game of the season. On Thanksgiving night, they play Mississippi State in the Egg Bowl. The kind of distraction that's never ideal for a team, especially with a rivalry game looming, is the speculation surrounding Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin. The Ole Miss has run the ball well, but it has also given up a lot of points.

21. Cincinnati Bearcats (9-2)

Previous ranking: 22

The week 12 result was a win against Temple.

The next game is against Tulane on Friday.

Bryant left the game in the second half with a foot injury. Evan Prater went 12 of 17 for 127 yards after replacing him. Bryant's status will be worth keeping an eye on with the regular-season title on the line. If they pick up their 33rd straight home victory, they will have an opportunity for a third straight American Athletic Conference title before they leave for the Big 12.

22. Oregon State Beavers (8-3)

Previous ranking: 25

The week 12 result was a 31-7 win.

The next game is against Oregon on Saturday. The time has not yet been determined.

It's been a great season in Corvallis so it's time to take things to the next level. With a 31-7 win over Arizona State, Jonathan Smith's Beavers moved to 8-3, their most wins since 2012 and now they get a chance at Oregon on Friday in a Civil War game. If the Beavers can pull off a small upset next weekend, they will still have a chance to win a 10th win.

23. Coastal Carolina Chanticleers (9-1)

Previous ranking: 23

There was no game in week 12.

What will happen at James Madison on Saturday?

In the Chanticleers' first game without their star quarterback, they narrowly escaped a 26-23 challenge from Southern Miss to win the Sun Belt East. After Saturday's game against Virginia was canceled, Jamey Chadwell's squad will head to James Madison for a tune-up before playing either Troy or South Alabama for the Conference USA title. The Chants are 31-4 since the beginning of 2020.

24. Texas Longhorns (7-4)

Previous ranking: unranked

The week 12 result was a 55-14 win by the Jayhawks.

The next game is against Baylor on Friday.

In road wins over Kansas State and Kansas, as well as the historic shut out of Oklahoma in Dallas, this season has produced flashes of what Texas could be. During a three-game winning streak in the middle of the season, the Longhorns have strung together wins. Bijan Robinson's final home game as a Longhorn will be against the defending Big 12 champion Bears. Robinson ran for 200 yards for the third time. The Longhorns would take sole possession of third place with a win over the Bears.

25. UCF Knights (8-3)

Previous ranking: 17

The week 12 result was a loss to Navy.

At the University of South Florida (Saturday, 7 p.m.). The time has not yet been determined.

Next week's game at South Florida may have a quarterback decision to make. After benching senior John Plumlee in the first half, sophomore Mikey Keene led the Knights' offense in the second half. The New Year's Six hopes were hurt by the fact that they didn't run the ball effectively and gave up five sacks.

The Oklahoma State team was dropped out.
