Power Rangers star Jason David Frank has died at age 49

The actor and mixed martial artist who played Tommy Oliver in the Power Rangers died at the age of 49. The Power Rangers stars confirmed his death on their social media accounts.

Frank played the White Ranger in the second season of the Power Rangers show after playing the Green Ranger in the first. Tommy Oliver's role in Power Ranger spinoffs is extensive. Frank appeared in Power Rangers Super Ninja Steel one year after he reprised his role in the Power Rangers reboot.

The Power Rangers franchise is just one of Frank's legacies. He made his UFC debut in 2010 and also made a brief appearance in We Bare Bears as the "Silver Bear." Frank launched a campaign in 2020 to raise money for his movie. The film will premiere next year.
