Donald Trump's account was restored by Musk. The billionaire owner posed the question to his followers
People have spoken. Trump will be allowed to return to work. Musk used a Latin phrase to say that the voice of the people is the voice of God.
On Thursday, Musk asked his followers to "Reinstate Trump." 51.8% of respondents voted "Yes" while 48.2% did not.

Representatives for the two companies did not respond to Insider's questions.
Nearly two years after Trump was kicked off the platform, he is back. After Musk closed a deal to buy the company, it was expected that Trump would return to the social networking site.
Musk said at the Financial Times conference that it was not correct to ban Trump. That was a mistake. Donald Trump didn't lose his voice because of it. I don't think it was a good idea.
He said he would reverse the permaban if he owned a social networking site. After the purchase was finalized, Musk fired four executives, including the CEO.
The person in charge of legal and policy affairs at the site has been most closely associated with the company's decision to ban Trump.
"After close review of recent Tweets from the realDonald Trump account and the context around them, we have permanently suspended the account due to the risk of further insinuation of violence."
It's not clear if the former president will return to the social networking site.
In April, Trump told Fox News that he was staying on Truth Social and wouldn't be using social media. I am going to be staying on TRUTH even though I would like to see Elon buy it because he will make improvements to it and he is a good man.
He said that he wasn't going back to the social networking site.
On Saturday, before the reinstatement was announced, Trump shared the link to Musk's poll on Truth Social and said "Vote now with positivity, but don't worry, we aren't going anywhere." The truth social is special.
Trump's critics believe that he would use the platform as a megaphone to spread election conspiracy theories, attack election officials and members of the judiciary, and possibly encourage his followers to commit violence, if he returns to the platform.
The former president believes he won the election. Despite the fact that his legal team and GOP allies lost almost all of the lawsuits they filed contesting the results of battleground states that Joe Biden won, that's still okay.
Congress was going to certify Biden's win on January 6, 2021. "If you don't fight like hell, you're not going to have a country anymore," Trump told his supporters at the rally.
At least five people died as a result of the Capitol siege, and Trump is now at the center of multiple criminal investigations into the riot. "I think you would have problems in this country the likes of which, perhaps, we've never seen before," the former president said.
The former president is the founder of Truth Social, a site that is similar to a social networking website.
The day after Musk's purchase was finalized, Trump wrote on Truth Social that he was happy that the company would no longer be run by left-wing extremists. All of the bot and fake accounts that have hurt it so badly need to be eliminated. It will be better.
