In an interview with Variety's Anna Tingley published Friday, Sorokin talked about her life after prison and her thoughts on criminal justice reform.
Sorokin was sentenced to four to 12 years in prison for her role in a scheme to defraud banks and financial institutions. She was taken into custody by Immigration and Customs Enforcement six weeks after she was released. She was released from ICE custody in October.
