The race for Colorado's Third Congressional District was too close to call.
Boebert was leading with more than 99% of votes counted as of Friday evening. The race was not expected to be competitive until the close results began to roll in on election night.
If a candidate wins by a small margin, a recount will take place. Boebert's lead of 556 out of her 163,832 votes is within that threshold.
Frisch said on Facebook that he called Boebert to concede the race to her because he didn't think he'd win.
There is very little chance of this recount changing more than a few votes. It's very small. Frisch said during his concession speech that it would be unethical for them or any other group to continue to raise money for a recount. Colorado elections are safe. Save your money for your groceries, your rent, your children, and other important causes.
Frisch did not reply immediately.
Boebert said on Friday that he looked forward to getting past election season and focusing on conservative governance.

The conservative had won the race. Boebert said on social media that they won.
She stated in the video that she was certain that she would win the race even with a recount. The amount of votes was not confirmed by the Insider.
"Past recounts in Colorado have resulted in less votes being adjusted than anything that could affect the current outcome in this race," she said.
Frisch had already submitted a statement of candidacy for 2024, which could set the stage for another Boebert-Frisch battle.
