According to Jon Morosi of the MLB Network, the San Francisco Giants are interested in Kenley Jansen.
From their time with the Los Angeles Dodgers, Kapler and Zaidi have a good relationship with Jansen.
Three All-Star Game selections were earned by Jansen during his time with the Dodgers. He helped the Blue Crew win the World Series in 2020.
Kapler was the Dodgers director of player development for three years before becoming the manager of the Philadelphia Phillies. He has been in charge of the Giants.
Zaidi has been the president of baseball operations for the Giants since the end of last year.
The Atlanta Braves had a player named Jansen. He had a 3.38ERA, 1.05 WHIP and 85 strikeouts in 64 appearances. He had 41 saves.
The Giants could use him in late-innings situations with Camilo Doval.

The Giants didn't make the playoffs for the fifth time in the last six seasons, finishing with an 81-81 record. The team could contend for a playoff spot in the increasingly difficult NL West division with the addition of a closer.
It's not clear what other teams will be interested in Jansen. He'll likely get a big contract after a great season.
