Virgin Atlantic announces new routes to the Maldives and Turks and Caicos Islands

The islands of the Maldives and Turks and Caicos will be serviced by Virgin Atlantic.

There will be a seasonal three-times-weekly service between London's Heathrow Airport and the Maldives. The tickets will be on sale in November.

The peak time to visit the islands is between November and April, which makes this route particularly tempting for people who want to get some winter sun next year.

This South Asia paradise has close to 190 different types of coral to explore, sand that is less white than a "Love Island" contestant's teeth and waters teeming with wildlife. Water villas on stilts are usually only seen in films.

Virgin Atlantic will launch a year-round twice-weekly flight to Turks and Caicos in November of 2020.

The Virgin Atlantic Holidays customers will be able to travel to the idyllic location in style onboard the Virgin Atlantic aircraft.

There are 31 Upper Class, 35 Premium Economy and 192 Economy seats available on the new routes.

There are no fares yet, but you can find deals with Virgin Atlantic between London and Bridgetown, Barbados, from 512 British pounds (about $608) throughout the winter season, or more than 4,000 Virgin points.
