Democrat Frisch concedes to MAGA Republican Boebert in tight race for Colorado House seat

Frisch gave the GOP another vote in the U.S. House after he conceded the race for one of Colorado's congressional seats.

Boebert's win is by the smallest of margins. With 99% of the vote in, she leads Frisch by just over 500 votes.

Boebert said she would move on from the election.

Boebert, who heckled President Joe Biden during the State of the Union speech, was leading in most of the public polls going into Election Day.

Boebert was one of the congressional Republicans who challenged the results of the 2020 presidential election. She is a member of the GOP.

Boebert trailed Frisch in raising money during the third quarter. Frisch and Boebert raised more than one million dollars in the third quarter. Frisch and Boebert brought in more than one million dollars in October. Frisch had $743,000 on hand in the last weeks of the election, which was more than Boebert.

Boebert has been in Congress for a long time. Boebert was asked by the FEC to explain the use of campaign funds.

The treasurer of Boebert's reelection campaign received a letter from the FEC inquiring about four Venmo payments.

The personal expenses of Lauren Boebert were billed to the campaign account in error. The expenses have been reimbursed, according to the filing.

A spokesman for Boebert told CNBC that the personal expenses were already reimbursed, but he didn't say what the payments were for.
