The problem is being acknowledged by Taylor Swift.

The public sale of tickets to Swift's tour was canceled byTicketmaster yesterday after postponing the Capital One cardholder presale by a day and being unequipped to deal with the volume of fans trying to access the Verified Fan pre-sale. Fans were stuck in long lines for hours and some received an error message when they finally got to the front of the line after the website crashed.
In the five years since her last tour, Swift has released four albums and re-released two of her fan favorites.
That's right, well. I don't say that I'm very protective of my fans. Over the years, I have brought many elements of my career in house. Swift said that she did this SPECIFICALLY to improve the quality of her fans' experience by doing it herself with her team who care as much about her fans as she does. It's difficult for me to trust an outside entity with my loyalties and relationships and I have no recourse if I make a mistake.
It's amazing that 2.4 million people got tickets, but it really pisses me off that a lot of them felt like they had to go through several bear attacks to get them.
There's nothing worse than revenge than Swift.
