On Thursday night after the team's win over the Green Bay Packers, Todd Downing was arrested in Tennessee for possession of a controlled substance.
According to the sheriff's department, he was charged with driving under the influence.
The bond was posted at 7 a.m. on Friday.
According to the information provided by Terry, Downing was pulled over at 3:49 a.m. local time and booked at 4:39 a.m.
The team's flight left Green Bay at 12:14 a.m. and arrived in Nashville at 2:11 a.m. The NFL has very strict rules regarding teams making alcohol available to players and coaches and there has been no indication of when Downing would have consumed alcohol.
According to the personal conduct policy of the National Football League, a first-timeDUI offense could result in a three-game suspension.
