Titans OC Todd Downing Arrested and Charged with DUI, Speeding After Win Over Packers

On Thursday night after the team's win over the Green Bay Packers, Todd Downing was arrested in Tennessee for possession of a controlled substance.

According to the sheriff's department, he was charged with driving under the influence.

The bond was posted at 7 a.m. on Friday.

According to the information provided by Terry, Downing was pulled over at 3:49 a.m. local time and booked at 4:39 a.m.

The team's flight left Green Bay at 12:14 a.m. and arrived in Nashville at 2:11 a.m. The NFL has very strict rules regarding teams making alcohol available to players and coaches and there has been no indication of when Downing would have consumed alcohol.

According to the personal conduct policy of the National Football League, a first-timeDUI offense could result in a three-game suspension.

The team hasn't commented on the situation. The head coach is going to speak with the media over the internet.

In the win over the Packers, Tennessee had season highs in points, total yards, and passing yards. The team is tied with the Miami Dolphins for the 2nd seed in the playoffs.
