Jet2holidays will resume its resort flight check in May 2023.

The option allows travelers to check in their luggage at the hotel on their day of departure, leaving their luggage free for the rest of the day.

The service was suspended in 2020 because the company wasn't sure when travel restrictions would be lifted.

Jet2holidays has a city breaks programme on sale.

Steve Heapy told Travel Weekly that he hopes to bring the service back in May of next year.

He said that they stopped it because they didn't know how long the restrictions would be.

We have to get permission from each country's version of the Civil Aviation Authority so that will take time.

We want to bring it back because people liked it. Customers would book a hotel because of the service it provided.

The hotels said it was popular because they offered resort flight check in.
