The history of icons such as the original Game Boy and the original iPhone can be seen in custom wall art created by GRID studio. The components are displayed in a frame and labeled.
I received a review of the iPod touch frame from the company. The original iPod touch was the first Apple product that I ever owned, and led me to become an Apple reporter, so the device is very meaningful to me. The second- generation iPod touch was released in September 2008.
The iPod touch frame is one of the more affordable options and is a great gift for an Apple fan this holiday season, especially since the final iPod touch was discontinued earlier this year. There are frames for the iPad mini, the iPod classic, and the Apple watch.
There is a ribbon and a wax seal on the frame. The frame was in good condition with the exception of two small scratches on the rear side of the black border. The damage is not visible when the frame is hanging on the wall.
There is a protective film on the front cover. After tearing off the plastic film, pieces got stuck under the black border, so it would have been better if I had taken the back cover off and removed the plastic film in one piece.
The iPod touch's front panel has a printed screenshot, Home button, 3.5-inch multi-touch display, logic board, rear shell, various flex cables and buttons, and more. The original iPod touch's wordmark and introduction date are included in the frame.
There are scratches on the iPod touch's back shell, but this isn't an issue for me and the frame would be more expensive if it contained a brand new device. I wish the original iPod touch was still around, but the second-generation model still captures the nostalgia of the device.
There are two small hooks on the back of the frame that can be used to hang the artwork.
The frame is high quality and is a very cool piece of art. I have no complaints about the two small scratches on the back of the frame. If you are an Apple fan or know someone who is, the GRID studio frames are worth a look.
Many options are still available for delivery before December 25 and can be found on the website.
Macrumors received a framed iPod touch from GRID Studio, but no other compensation was received. This is not an ad.
