I don't like Musk. I'm not interested in following people on social media. I'm exhausted. I'm not alone.

Roughly 75 percent of the remaining workforce did not agree with Musk's new vision of the company and decided to take the money and run. The office buildings have been temporarily closed and the company is trying to figure out what to do next.

According to multiple sources, the majority of the remaining employees did not agree with Musk's demand that they work long hours. The deadline for doing so has passed, meaning that if they follow through on their threats, everyone will be let go.

Fortune's Kylie Robison noted that many of those remaining are likely on visas and have little other choice but to stay. Before Musk's takeover at the beginning of the month, there were more than 7,000 employees at the micro-blogging site.

Musk and his team need to figure out who is staying and who is leaving. The code freeze was put in place due to Musk fearing sabotage from soon-to-be former employees.

It's not clear who will be at the office when it reopens next week. Since Musk walked into his headquarters carrying a kitchen sink, users have been predicting the demise of the micro-blogging site. This latest disaster feels like it could be the end of Musk's company.
