At least she has her dignity after losing the governor's race in Arizona.
Correct, scratch that. It looks like the TV journalist-turned-Republican politician is making the same type of election fraud claims that didn't work for Donald Trump in 2020.
Lake was still refusing to concede despite the fact that the Democratic nominee was named the winner of the contest by Monday night.
In a video message posted to social media, Lake said she is gathering her lawyers and gathering evidence of people having difficulty voting on Election Day.
Lake said in the video that she had assembled the best and brightest legal team and that she was exploring every avenue to correct the wrongs that had been done. I am doing everything I can to correct these wrongs.
Lake claims that long lines at some polling places, along with ballot printer problems at a third of the vote centers, made it hard for people who couldn't wait at the polls to cast their votes.
She said that what happened to Arizonans on election day is unforgivable.
All ballots were counted and voters who wanted to avoid lines could go to any polling place in the county.
Lake stated in her video that Arizona's secretary of state should have removed herself from any involvement in the election. While the secretary of state creates election procedures and certifies equipment, the office is not responsible for counting ballots in the state, according to the Associated Press.
Lake can be seen ignoring hard facts with a soft focus lens.
Since Arizona Republicans flipped a pair of House seats in this month's elections, Lake's election fraud accusations weren't appreciated.
Lake had threatened to deny the election if she didn't win, so many people were happy to mock her.
Did Rudy still have an Arizona law license when he was a Trump lawyer?
