According to reports, the Buffalo Bills and Cleveland Browns have been in contact with the league about moving the game out of Buffalo.

The Buffalo area is bracing for between three and six inches of snow from Thursday to Sunday, which could cause the league to consider other options.

One model is predicting 70 inches of snow just south of Buffalo over the course of 24 hours.

Since the Bills and Jets game was moved to Ford Field in Detroit due to snow, no games have been moved.

The Bills don't want to move the game back a day since they play the Detroit Lions next week on Thanksgiving.

If the game needs to be moved, several locations are being considered by the league. The decision on moving the game will have to be made on Friday.

AccuWeather has a different picture of the amount of snow that will fall in the Buffalo area.

According to AccuWeather, there is a 40% chance of between three and four feet of snow. Between two and three feet has a 38 percent chance, and less than two feet has a 19 percent chance.

There is a 2% chance of four to five feet and a 1% chance of more than five feet.

If the projections are correct, there will be plenty of time for snow removal prior to the game if AccuWeather is correct.

If the game is played in the Buffalo suburb of Orchard Park, New York, the weather will affect it.

The game could feature a healthy dose of running the ball, which would seem to favor the Browns, who are fifth in the NFL in rushing yards per game thanks largely to running back Nick Chubb.

Josh Allen's ability to throw effectively in less-than-ideal conditions may mean Buffalo doesn't have to deviate too far from its normal gameplan.

No matter where the game is played, the 6-3 Bills are in dire need of a win, as they are looking to snap a two-game losing streak when they take on the 3-6Browns.
