Mike Ashley is the new owner of the building society arena.
The businesses were placed into administration after the Frasers Group made a £17 million bid.
Doug King will buy an 85% stake in the club from the city.
His offer to buy the stadium was rejected by a court.
The judge said there was not enough substance in King's attempt to delay the administration orders, and that the Frasers Group would pull out if there was more delay.
According to King, his offer to buy the club, which is subject to English Football League approval, would go forward regardless of the court's decision.
The court was told that the energy bill for the three companies was £2,000 and they had only a small amount of money left in their bank accounts.
Lawyers told the court that the companies would need to raise a minimum of £300,000 and a maximum of £645,000 by the end of the month.
When the Sky Blues first played at the stadium, it was called the Ricoh Arena.
The club went into administration last month.
The stadium was saved from closing by an advance payment from Frasers.
"After conducting an accelerated sales process, the ACL board entered into an exclusive agreement with a preferred bidder on November 1st, which included the payment of a non-refundable deposit to provide the necessary funding for the arena to continue to trade," the statement said.
Businesses have run out of cash and this was necessary. The required level of funding was not available from any other interested parties.
King wanted to acquire both the club and the ground, despite the deal that will clear the Sky Blues' debts.
The stadium is something we are very interested in. There is a chance we can get the Sky Blues together.
We've played a couple of games there that we may not have been able to play if he hadn't done that.
"If we don't get it, if it goes to the preferred bidder for less than we are willing to pay, I don't understand how that works."
"Then I guess we'll be out there and hopefully be able to talk to the new owner if it's Mike."
He said they're in, whatever happens.
He sold his stake in the club for $300m in October 2021.
He was in charge of St James' Park for 14 years, during which they finished fifth in the premier league.
David Clowes bought Derby County in the summer after they went into administration in September 2021.
As soon as the operating companies entered administration, his contract to buy the CBS Arena came into force.
The judge said that five other companies had also been interested in buying the stadium, but had dropped out before the Frasers Group deal was agreed.
