According to King, his offer to buy the club, which is subject to English Football League approval, would go forward regardless of the court's decision.
The court was told that the energy bill for the three companies was £2,000 and they had only a small amount of money left in their bank accounts.
Lawyers told the court that the companies would need to raise a minimum of £300,000 and a maximum of £645,000 by the end of the month.
