An all-electric SUV concept with plant-based seating and an artificial intelligence assistant was unveiled by Toyota.
At the Los Angeles auto show, the bZ concept was meant to showcase Toyota's vision for its battery-electric future. There will be 30 fully electric vehicles, five of which will be under the bZ badge.
The all-electric Toyota bZ4X was unveiled last year. The collaboration between the two companies resulted in the creation of that vehicle, which is almost identical to the Solterra.
The SUV concept car has a possible vision of the very near future. The portfolio will support the goal of going carbon neutral by the year 2050.

Ahead of the auto show, the Toyota Prius, a mild hybrid, made its debut.
The sleek bZ concept pushes the wheels to the corners to achieve an aggressive stance and make it appear in motion when parked. The silhouette shows short overhangs, sweepback angles and a narrow-down cabin design to create a futuristic look.
The seating in the car is made from plant-based and recycled materials and the steering wheel is shaped like a circle. The name of the artificial intelligence-based personal agent is Yui and it responds to requests from front or rear passengers using sound and lights.
