Xbox’s improved Discord experience is rolling out to everyone

The update will add the ability to connect to Discord voice channels straight from your console, as well as a new Captures app.

If you wanted to join a voice channel on your gaming console, you would have to use your phone or computer. The update will allow you to join them directly from the Discord section. You would have to use your phone to join a one-on-one voice call if you were to test the feature.

The update includes a new Captures app that improves the experience of viewing, editing, and managing screen recordings, as well as the ability to copy those captures onto an external drive. The Series S and X will now capture 720p and1080p recordings in slightly better quality with a higher bitrate, so they don't get as pixelated during heated moments.

The update allows you to start streaming games from the console itself.

The console's wish list feature is getting some improvements, including pop-up and in-guide notifications for when a game on your list goes on sale, as well as a setting to turn them off.
