Kevin Spacey has been charged with seven more counts of sexual assault stemming from incidents in the early 2000s.
The new charges include indecent assault, three sexual assault offenses, and one charge of causing a person to engage in sexual activity without consent.
The charges are related to one alleged male victim.
Spacey pleaded not guilty in July to four counts of sexual assault and one count of forcing a person to engage in "penetrative sexual activity" without their consent.
While living in the U.K., Spacey served as the artistic director for The OldVic theater, one of the country's most acclaimed venues. The Prince of Wales gave Spacey a knighthood in 2016 for his work in theater.
Dozens of men have accused Spacey of sexual harassment. Anthony Rapp said that Spacey made sexual advances towards him when he was 14. Since then, some 30 men have come forward accusing Spacey of molesting them. Spacey denied some of the allegations. Spacey was found not responsible for assault and battery against Rapp after he sued Spacey. The allegations have hurt Spacey's career. In May, it was announced that Spacey would be starring in the historical drama 1242, his biggest role since the accusations were made. He was dropped from the project in July after being charged in the United Kingdom.
Kevin Spacey says he waited until 58 to come out as gay because his dad was a neo-Nazi.
