TP-Link introduced several models of its Tapo line of smart home devices that ranged in price from $30 to $60. The Tapo C40S2 is an indoor/ outdoor 2K night vision security camera that costs more.

Up to 180 days on a charge is offered in both indoor and outdoor environments. The company says that it has an f/1.6 lens that allows it to see up to 49 feet in the dark. With 2K resolution (2,048 x 1,080) a hair above Full HD, TP- Link promises "pristine images, even in low-light conditions."

It has features that allow it to distinguish between humans, pets, vehicles, and packages, and provide notifications when someone steps into the property. There is a built-in siren and light alarm, cloud storage with 30 days of video history, and more. TP-Link's website has the Tapo C420S2 for $200 for a two-pack, which is a good price for a wireless night-vision camera.
