The teams are stacked up like club sandwiches according to Bill Parcells.

The Jets coach said it was a good division. As long as Bill Belichick is the head coach, New England won't leave anytime soon. The coach in Miami is doing a great job. There's a lot of talent in them. Buffalo is loaded as well. The division is loaded. Every team has a distinctive identity.

The last eight weeks of the year will be fascinating.

Here is a closer look at the division, courtesy of the reporters from the sports network.

Some people think Tua Tagovailoa is a top-five quarterback.

Miami Dolphins (7-3)

The Dolphins have a chance to win the division.

The run game can complement the pass game in the NFL. They could be the best team in the league if their defense plays like it did on Sunday against Cleveland. Tua Tagovailoa has sparked an offense with his efficient play, and he is a legitimate contender for the Most Valuable Player award.

The dolphins are vulnerable.

We haven't seen consistent production from their defense. It's necessary to stop offenses like Buffalo and Kansas City if you want to get out of theAFC. Miami can keep up with either team in a shootout, but eventually it needs to be able to stop them.

The Dolphins are off to their best start in over a decade, but what is the most important thing coach Mike McDaniel has done?

A culture of confidence, support and accountability has been cultivated by the Dolphins' head coach. The team has responded to his demeanor in the face of adversity, and now seems to trust him. Tagovailoa said he trusted the first-year head coach because of his attitude after three losses.

McDaniel is a brilliant playcaller who understands his players and puts them in a good position to succeed. Through 10 games, the Dolphins have recorded 3,905 yards, which is second most in franchise history, and has meant record production for Tagovailoa and Hill. At this rate, he could be the coach of the year by the end of the season.

Buffalo Bills (6-3)

The Bills have a chance to win the division.

The Bills had a good case for being the best team in the league before their bye. When quarterback Josh Allen is clicking, the offense has looked unbeatable, and on defense, the addition of Von Miller has proven to be a major positive. The Bills have enough depth to deal with injuries.

There is a reason why the Bills are vulnerable.

It's the play of the quarterback that's important right now. In the past three games, Allen has lost a ball and has six turnovers. In the last three games, he has thrown two picks up for the first time in his career, and he needs to get his game back on track.

What's happening at the end of games when the Bills are 3-2 in one-score games?

The Bills' second-half struggles have become such a problem that coach Sean McDermott spent time Monday going through what the team has gone through in the final two quarters and overtime. There are concerns.

Allen had two end zone picks in Sunday's loss to the Vikings. Teams have been able to crawl back into games since the Bills' bye. The defense has allowed the most yards per rush in the league since Week 8. The lowest in each category through the first seven weeks.

In the second half, we were one of the top teams in both offense and defense. We have to make the appropriate adjustments now that we have taken a step back.

The Bills have the best point margin in the league, but both sides of the ball have allowed opponents to win close games. It has to be fixed with four more games against the East.

New York Jets (6-3)

The Jets have a chance to win the division.

They are a physical group who can play defense for any team in the league. Five of their remaining eight games are away from the stadium, which is why they're perfect on the road.

McGovern said that they are hard to beat when they bring their best.

They will get healthier with the return of injured players such as receiverCorey Davis, offensive tackle George Fant and defensive tackle.

Each team has a chance to win the division.

• Panthers buy into coach Steve Wilks

• Jaguars not where they want to be, yet

• Key to Giants DT Lawrence's sudden rise

• How do Cowboys fix poor rush defense?

The Jets are vulnerable, why.

There are a few reasons

There is still a feeling that Wilson could lose his mind at any time. He isn't consistent like a battle-tested quarterback. The Jets have the league's 12th toughest schedule, with their opponents combining to make up 41-35. The Chicago Bears, Detroit Lions and Jacksonville Jaguars aren't going to be easy to beat. In two of their six wins, they feasted on backups.

Is the Jets' offense the right recipe for success?

It will be difficult because Hall provided a big-play dimension, a level of explosion that compensated for the other areas' weaknesses. Michael Carter and James Robinson are competent running backs, but they don't have the speed to break tackles. To make the running game unpredictable, it's going to be on Mike LaFleur.

The Jets have enough skill players on the perimeter to be dangerous, but they need a reliable second option. Davis can be that guy if he is healthy. They need to find a role for Moore, who has been invisible since he asked for a trade. It's too bad Moore isn't being ignored week after week.

It comes down to one person. Can you rely on a quarterback who has only four touchdown passes in six games?

Wilson was held hostage by the media and fans because of his three turnovers against the Pats. Wilson will have a chance to prove to his coach that he is a good player.

New England Patriots (5-4)

There's a reason the Pats could win the division.

A person's health. After a bye week, they have almost all of their top players available. Football can be a battle of attrition. This point is amplified by the fact that there are no starters on IR this season and that some of them will return.

There is a reason why the patriots are vulnerable.

They haven't put it together on offense, and quarterback Mac Jones hasn't looked as comfortable in the new offense that MattPatricia and Joe Judge have put together. Jones is 112-of-168 for 1,140 yards and four touchdown in five games. In 17 games last season, he had 13 picks.

What needs to happen on the offensive side of the ball to get the Pats to the first place?

When they run the ball they are at their best. The defense and special teams have been the strength of the team this season. They reinvented themselves late in the season in order to win the Super Bowl.

Along the way, fewer turnovers will be necessary.

"If each individual player gets better, we can kind of put that together as a team, and obviously as an offense, and then kind of kick start the back half of the year here," Jones said.
