Technical issues and hurricanes derailed previous attempts at launching Artemis 1. The next launch window will be open for two hours on November 16th. If NASA has to scrub it again, there is a backup launch window that will open at 1:45 AM on November 19th.

Hurricane Nicole delayed the launch attempt for November 14th. The Kennedy Space Center's launch pad was undamaged by the storm. They did not enough to cause a longer delay.

The first attempt to send Artemis 1 into space was scrubbed due to engine issues and a hydrogen fuel leak. The launch in September didn't go as planned. The Vehicle Assembly Building was taken back to to protect them from Hurricane Ian. It is hoped that NASA can send them on their way.

The latest launch attempt can be watched on a live stream. You can see the launch in virtual reality. If you happen to be in Florida or the south east region of Georgia, you might be able to see the SLS if the weather is good.
