Bhutan has a wide range of things for everyone. The country is almost out of a fairy tale, a place where time has stopped. Our age-old Buddhist culture and traditions; our people and their lifestyle; our emphasis and motivation on attaining a truly happy life, instead of a merely materialistic one, have made us a top destination for visitors.
We asked three questions about your trip to Bhutan.

The fortress is called the capital fortress. The seat of the government and religious authorities in Bhutan is called a dzong. The office of the king, ministers and the chief abbot are located in the capital fort. The heart of Bhutan features magnificent architecture, Buddhist paintings and temple chambers, as well as Bhutanese civil servants in the signature national dress and monks in maroon robes. At the edge of time is where the past and the present meet.
If someone visits, what should they try?
Red-chili cheese is the most popular food here. It's quite spicy for foreigners to eat rice and chili in Bhutan. I would also recommend the potato-cheese curry and the dried-beef-and- cheese curry. Most restaurants in Thimphu offer these.
