During her father's presidency, Donald Trump's oldest daughter was a rising political figure. She was a senior adviser in the White House during the Trump administration. She and her brother were not present at the announcement of her father's candidacy for president.

Since her father left office, she has distanced herself from the administration. She agreed with the analysis of Attorney General William Barr that there had been no substantial fraud during the voting process. Sources told CNN that she would never return to being her father's senior adviser.
