There was no change to the top five in the College Football Playoff selection committee's third ranking.
After a 66-24 thumping of unranked Missouri, the Vols remained the committee's highest-ranked one-loss team, keeping them in contention for the playoffs. Georgia will play LSU in the SEC Championship game. It would be the first two-loss team to reach theCFP if LSU wins its conference.
If Tennessee doesn't win a conference title, it will be the third team not to win a division in the last two years. Last season, Georgia beat Alabama to win the national title, and the SEC has had multiple teams make the playoffs.

Without a conference championship, the Vols will face greater scrutiny by the selection committee and will be relying on wins against Alabama and LSU to get a debate against a Power 5 conference champion.
USC is the highest ranked team in the conference after Oregon lost to Washington. USC and Utah are both in the top 10 of the CFP.
USC can make it to the conference title game with a win at UCLA on Saturday, while Oregon can make it to the conference title game with a win at Utah on Sunday.
The Longhorns fell out of the top 25 this week as a result of their loss to the Frogs. It helped the Frogs that Oklahoma State came back into the rankings.
The final top 25 will be released on December 4th. The committee's top 10 teams have not been ranked outside of them. Michigan State and Oklahoma were ranked ninth and tenth, respectively.
The two-loss Alabama is in the 8th spot, ahead of the one-loss Clemson.
The highest ranked conference champion in the Group of 5 will get a bid to a New Year's Six bowl.
