Francona has a career regular season win record of 1874.
The man who led the Orioles to their first winning season in seven years was 49-year-old Hyde. Many of the pitchers that he did it with were released or DFA'd by other teams. Hyde has been in charge of the Orioles.
For the first time in two decades, the SeattleMariners qualified for the playoffs, thanks in part to the efforts of their new head coach, Servais. Seattle won 90 games for the second year in a row but lost in the playoffs to the Astros.
Kevin Cash was nominated for manager of the year in 2021.
