After firing as many as 5,500 contract employees without giving them a reason, Musk is now getting rid of anyone who dares to criticize him on the social media platform.

Yesterday, Musk admitted to firing an engineer who attempted to correct him publicly, and Eric Frohnhoefer wasn't the last to do that.

The people who complained in public were also given the ax.

The people who mostly just criticized Musk are being shown the door as well.

Many employees are reporting that they are being fired because of their criticism of Musk.

Nick Morgan wrote that he assumed this was for not showing 100% loyalty in slack since his account was protected. His firing notice was posted.

We don't know if his account was set to private, but he's not the only one looking at it. According to Gergely Orosz, at least 10 people have been fired for speaking up internally in a Slack watercooler channel.

At least a dozen employees have been let go because of their criticism of Musk, according to employees.

I would like to apologize for firing these geniuses, but I don't know what else to say. Their talent will be used in other places.

I wonder if The Onion knows what they're talking about.
