  • The tickets for Taylor Swift's tour went on sale Tuesday.

  • Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is a member of the House of Representatives.

  • The pop star's website crashed while customers tried to buy tickets.

Taylor Swift fans tried to buy pre-sale tickets to her upcoming tour at the same time that Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez accused the company of monopolizing the industry.

The 2010 merger of Live Nation, the events promoter and venue operator, into Live Nation Entertainment has been the subject of concern for many years.

The merger with LiveNation should never have been approved because they are a monopoly. The Democrat from New York said to break them up.

As millions of fans flooded the site, the company said it had seen "historically unprecedented demand" for tickets to Swift's shows.

The "monopoly" was urged to be probed by congress. In April of 2021, a group of democrats sent a letter to the attorney general.

The letter begins with support for strong antitrust enforcement by the Biden Administration. The 2010 merger between the world's largest concert promoter, Live Nation, and the biggest ticket provider, Ticketmaster, has harmed consumers and needs to be reexamined.

The White House Chief of Staff said there were no crashes when the student loan forgiveness application was launched.

People have told me that the government should work like a business. The team atUSEdgov andUSDS built a student loan forgiveness portal that processed 8 million applications in 30 hours.

Some people poked fun at the crash. When Taylor Swift wrote "the great war", she was preparing us for the Battle of Ticketmaster.

Due to the "historically unprecedented demand" and difficulties with the website, those who have already purchased tickets are good to go. The Capitol One onsale will now take place on November 16 at 2 pm.

It's me, it's me." Hello, I'm here. Taylor Swift said, "I'm the problem, it's me."
